Themes such as Aeon Flux allow a lot of customisation out of the box and you can achieve this using smart playlists and custom menus but in the end I was happiest with Confluence as long as I could set the menus/sub menus. As an example I have Anime, Kids and regular TV shows in my library but I don't want to see them in the same view. The idea was to separate the various genres of TV shows and Movie libraries into distinct menu options. And after setup, you need to give the skin time to load new things up.Although Kodi is well documented via the wiki and forums, I couldn't find a tutorial that explained how to customise the base theme (Confluence) to have custom sub-menus. Please bear in mind that too many items, submenus and shortcuts may slow down your system. Hit Reload from Skin Reset tab to save settings and reload Xonfluence. When multiple addons are added, you can use the Add-on set feature from Home menu tab to display your added addons set in a exsisting hub.įrom Background tab, you can use your own images as the skin's artwork.Īnd Scripts tab for advanced configurations. From the right side, scroll through the home items, and when you see an empty menu item, you can click on it to define a shortcut for it and create a new home item.įrom Submenu tab, you get to customize up to 10 submenus for each existing home menu item.įrom Addon Shortcuts tab, you can create shortcuts for up to 12 user selection addon sets.
